The basics
What is ZipDrip?
ZipDrip Connections makes custom ZipDrip Zipper Pulls: premium enamel accessories that clip onto the zipper of a jacket, hoodie, bag or piece of luggage. Many of them carry a scannable QR code, so a small accessory becomes a link to a brand, a creator, an event or a community.
Read our story →What is a ZipDrip Zipper Pull?
A ZipDrip Zipper Pull is a removable, interchangeable accessory that replaces or upgrades the pull on a zipper. It is built like a premium enamel pin, with polished metal edges and defined enamel color, but made with a real connector so it attaches to a zipper slider.
Shop zipper pulls →How is a zipper pull different from an enamel pin or a keychain?
An enamel pin sits on fabric and a keychain stays in a pocket. A ZipDrip Zipper Pull rides on the zipper of something people wear or carry every day, so it gets seen, it gets touched every time the zipper moves, and with a QR code it can send people somewhere with one scan.
See what makes it different →Will it fit my jacket, hoodie or bag?
ZipDrip Zipper Pulls are made to attach to zipper sliders on jackets, hoodies, bags, backpacks, luggage and more. If you have a specific piece in mind, mention it in the project form and we will plan around it.
Start your custom drip →Can I swap pulls or take them off?
Yes. ZipDrip Zipper Pulls are removable and interchangeable, so you can switch designs for the day, the event or the season and keep the rest as a collection.
Shop zipper pulls →What are ZipDrip Zipper Pulls made of?
They are metal pieces with enamel color, finished like a premium enamel pin. The exact metal finish or plating and the enamel colors are chosen for each design.
See custom options →Can it get wet? How do I take care of it?
ZipDrip Zipper Pulls are metal and enamel, made for everyday wear on jackets and bags, rain included. To keep the shine, wipe them with a soft dry cloth and take the pull off before the jacket goes in the wash.

How does the QR code on a zipper pull work?
Someone points their phone camera at the code on the pull and taps the link that pops up. It opens whatever page you chose: a product, a song, a sign-up form, a schedule or a private page.
See the QR options →Do people need an app to scan it?
No. Modern iPhone and Android cameras scan QR codes on their own. Open the camera, point it at the pull and tap the link.
See how the QR works →Can I change where the QR code goes later?
Yes, with a dynamic code. A dynamic QR code points to a link you control, so you can change where it goes at any time without touching the pulls already out in the world. A static code is locked to one link forever.
Read: What is a dynamic QR zipper pull? →Where can the scan send people?
Anywhere with a link: a product page, a drop, a lookbook, streaming links, a portfolio, a ticket or check-in page, a sign-up form, a group chat invite, a video or a private members page.
See the QR options →Can each zipper pull have its own unique code?
Yes. Pulls can be serialized so each one links to its own page, which works well for VIP access, numbered editions and member pulls.
Events & VIP ideas →Will the QR code still scan if it gets scratched?
Our codes are made at the highest QR error-correction level (H), which is designed to keep a code readable even when up to about 30 percent of it is damaged or covered.
See how the QR works →Can I see how many people scanned it?
Dynamic codes we set up and manage can track scan activity, so you can see how your pulls are being used. Mention it in the project form and we will set it up with your order.
Start your custom drip →Do you offer NFC zipper pulls?
QR is our standard way to make a pull scannable. If you want tap-to-open NFC, mention it in the project form and we will talk through the options for your design.

How do I order custom zipper pulls?
Fill out the project intake form with what you are building, who it is for and roughly how many pieces you need. We follow up to shape the design with you, and you approve it before anything gets made.
Start your custom drip →Can you make a zipper pull with my logo?
Yes. We shape your logo or concept into a pull: silhouette, metal finish and enamel colors. You see the design before anything gets made.
ZipDrip for Brands →I only have a rough idea. Can you design it for me?
Yes. A sketch, a photo or a few words is enough to start. We turn it into a design that works at zipper-pull size and you approve it before production.
Start your custom drip →Can you turn my artwork or painting into a zipper pull?
Yes. Send the art, a sketch or a photo of the piece. Detailed paintings and photos get simplified into bold shapes and enamel colors that hold up at pull size, and you approve the design first.
ZipDrip for Creators →Will I see the design before it is made?
Yes. You see and approve the design before anything goes into production.
Start your custom drip →Can I sell the zipper pulls I order?
Yes. They are small and light, easy to sell at a merch table, market booth or meetup and easy to ship with online orders. Use the profit calculator to see rough numbers for your batch.
Calculate your profits →Can I do a limited-edition drop?
Yes. Limited runs, numbered editions and one-off designs for a launch or anniversary are a great fit, and serialized codes can make each piece unique.
See collaborations →What shapes and sizes can a zipper pull be?
The shape is cut to your design, so it can follow the outline of a logo, a character or a symbol. Size is planned around the design and the zippers it will ride on, big enough for the details and the QR code to read and small enough to sit right on a jacket or bag.
Start your custom drip →How many colors can a design have? Hard or soft enamel?
Designs use defined enamel color sections separated by raised metal lines, and the metal finish or plating is picked to match the look. Hard enamel is polished flat and smooth; soft enamel keeps the metal lines raised for more texture. Tell us the look you want and we will recommend the colors, enamel style and finish that fit.
See custom options →Can I order more than one design at once?
Yes. List each design and how many of each you want in the project form. Sets and series work well for collections, milestone pulls and drops, and your quote will show how the mix comes together.
Start your custom drip →Can I reorder the same design later?
Yes. Mention your earlier order in the project form and we will start from your approved design, so a restock does not start from scratch.
Start your custom drip →Can you put something on the back of the pull?
Yes. The back of a pull is where the QR code usually goes, and it can also carry a serial number, a short message or a small mark. Tell us what you want back there in the project form.
Start your custom drip →Can I get a sample before the full order?
You always approve the design before production. If you want a physical sample before the full run, ask in the project form and we will tell you what is possible for your order and timeline.

How much do custom zipper pulls cost?
It depends on the size of the pull, how many enamel colors it uses, the metal finish or plating, QR or NFC features, packaging, quantity and shipping. Bigger batches usually bring the cost per pull down. Send the project form for a real quote, or try the profit calculator for a rough idea.
Get your real quote →What is the minimum order?
We make everything from small runs to full production. Tell us roughly how many you need in the project form and we will tell you what works for your project.
Start your custom drip →How long does a custom order take?
It depends on the design and the size of the order. Share your date in the project form, plan as early as you can, and we will tell you what is realistic.
Start your custom drip →How much could I make selling them?
Use the profit calculator: set your batch size, your cost per pull, your retail price and how many you expect to sell to see a rough estimate. It is an estimate, not a quote.

How can a brand use zipper pulls?
Put your brand on the piece your customer wears every day, then use the scan for reorders, early access to the next drop, a campaign page or the story behind the product.
ZipDrip for Brands →I am an artist or musician. How would I use them?
Turn your work into a wearable piece fans keep, then point the scan at your newest release, your portfolio, a print shop, tour dates or a fans-only page, and update it every time you drop something new.
ZipDrip for Creators →Can zipper pulls work as event merch or a ticket?
Yes. Hand one out with the ticket or use the scan for check-in, the schedule and the map on the day, then switch it to the recap and next year's presale afterwards.
ZipDrip for Events →Do they work for run clubs, gyms and other groups?
Yes. Give members a pull only your people wear, then use the scan for joining, check-ins and the next meetup. Milestone designs make the set worth collecting.
ZipDrip for Communities →Can sponsors be part of the design?
Yes. Co-branded designs work well, and the scan can include a sponsor page as part of the experience.
ZipDrip for Events →Can we use them to raise money for our group?
Yes. A zipper pull is an easy add-on to sell at meetups or online, and it can help fund what your group is building.
ZipDrip for Communities →Can I make them for a wedding, birthday or family reunion?
Yes. A custom pull makes a keepsake people actually use, and the scan can open photos, a playlist, a video message or the event details.

Tell us about your store in the project form, what you sell and who shops with you, and we will follow up about stocking ZipDrip Zipper Pulls or making a design just for your shop.
